High-level timeline for the New Holland Machine Company, it's predecessors and successors:

1895 – Abraham Zimmerman founded the New Holland Machine Works in 1895.

1903 – The New Holland Machine Co. was incorporated.

1914 – Abe Zimmerman leaves The New Holland Machine Co. about 1914.

1933 - Zimmerman retires a second time.

1940 – New management purchase stock and reorganize

1947 – The New Holland Machine Co. is purchased by Sperry Rand Corporation –
             renamed to “Sperry New Holland”

1986 – Sperry Corporation sells to Ford – renamed to “Ford New Holland”

1990 – Ford sells and becomes a Fiat subsidiary called Fiat Geotech.

2012 – Renamed to Case New Holland (CNH) as Fiat restructured its non-automotive vehicle business.
